As part of the project Agri-Digital Growth (Creating a transnational ecosystem to update digital skills in agrifood manufacturing companies), EIT Digital, in collaboration with the other project partners, defined the programme of the 5-pilot courses covering the topics of Precision Farming knowledge gap related to AI, blockchain, mechatronics, sensorics, robotics, electrification.
EIT Digital, with its extensive background in the education sector, will serve as the lead partner in the implementation and deployment of the training platform for this project.
EIT Digital has adopted an AI-enabled e-learning platform to host the project’s pilot training courses. This platform leverages artificial intelligence to improve the user experience and streamline content delivery across multiple languages and formats.
The courses will be available via EIT Digital platform. This page will serve as the main gateway for users, presenting:
- A summary of the project objectives and activities
- The list of partners involved,
- A showcase of the five pilot training courses, each available for individual selection.
Each course will be prerecorded in English and structured into smaller modules following a consistent editorial format and the syllabus defined under the project’s micro-credential framework. The AI functionalities of the platform will be used to:
- Automatically transcribe the video content,
- Generate multilingual subtitles in all 24 EU official languages.
The platform will also support interactive features to promote engagement and learner feedback, including:
- Surveys,
- Interactive exercises and quizzes,
- A dedicated space for additional resources (e.g. readings, tools, templates).
Upon completing a course and successfully passing a final assessment, participants will receive a certificate of completion, supporting formal recognition of learning outcomes.
The courses will be offered in an on-demand format with no fixed deadlines, allowing learners to enrol, start, and complete the modules at their own pace. This approach supports inclusive participation from learners with varying schedules and commitments.
All five courses will be made available on both the EIT Digital Platform and the Project Platform starting from April 2026.
